I was having a tough time trying to get ATT Tilt to act as a wireless modem for laptop using Window XP. I finally figure out and here is the exact steps that you need to do in order for it to work. It works beautifully and fast too!
For those that want to use to use ATT Tilt as Wireless modem using XP and having problem!
Here is a typical symtom when you not doing the right way!

Until GIMP come along making a picture transparency is a very time comsuming effort! One of the old paint program that let you erase to transparency but it is hard to find now a day!
Here GIMP comes to the rescue! There easy steps when use GIMP 2.2.13:
. First, on the menu bar, pick "Layer", "Transparency", then "Add Alpha Channel" (Note: The most important step, otherwise it won't work!)
. Next on the menu bar, pick "Select", "By Color", then click on the color you want to clear to transparency.
. Last on the menu bar, pick "Edit" then "Clear"
Now when you save the file, it will be a transparency picture!
